International Shipping FAQ:

  1. How are international shipping charges automatically configured to my online order?

    You can shop online seamlessly with the online shopping cart system. During checkout your shopping cart will display several shipping options, one of which is specifically designed for international orders. If you feel the shipping charges are too high you can cancel the order immediately simply by removing it from the shopping cart.

    If you would like an estimate before proceeding to checkout, you can come back to this page and click the “International Shipping Calculator” listed above. Input your country and an estimate to what you believe your package will weigh and you will have a pretty good idea what the shipping costs will be.

    If you require other forms of documentation prior to importing then we will not be able to assist you.
    Please make sure that other forms of documentation will not be required by your government before you order. We are not responsible for fees incurred because of returns and we are not responsible for customs and tariff fees imposed by your country.

  2. Do you offer samples?

    Yes we do offer samples, however we require a nominal charge to cover expenses and only offer one sample per customer.

    Each sample is a nominal $2.95 USD and the party requesting the sample must pay for freight.

  3. Additional things to take into consideration about our international shipping services:

    Returns

    We are unable to accept returns for merchandise from our international customers, except under two circumstances.


    – If it was a result of our clerical error. In this instance we will credit your shipping and remedy the problem immediately.

    – If you order accidentally and have good cause to return the merchandise we can do so, but we will be unable to credit you for the shipping charges that incurred in processing your package.

    Cancellations

    If for any reason you wish to cancel your order you have 2 business days to do so. All orders are usually processed and shipped within 48 hours and once your order has gone out there will not be a cancellation service available.

    Duties and Taxation

    Rainforest Essentials is not responsible for any duties, taxes or other associated import fees that your country may impose.

    These additional costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

    Orders Held Up At Your Country’s Border

    While we try our best to process and ship your order promptly, we are unable to guarantee that the parcel will reach you in the exact time frame stated.

    All countries, at any time, can hold your order for reasons that they may suspect as warranted. This usually involves a parcel search, product quarantine, or an inspection of items within the parcel that may cause some concern with customs officials. Orders delayed in this fashion are not the responsibility of Rainforest Essentials and can only be resolved by you and your local postal authorities.

We’ve been taking credit card orders via the internet for over ten years, and orders over the internet are as safe or safer than paying by credit card at the local mall.
